1. Spot welding
Spot welding is to assemble the weldment, align the joint, and press it between the electrodes. Through resistance heat, the base metal is melted to form a solder joint, so this is also a welding method.
2. Spot welding process
The spot welding process is: first clean the surface of the weldment, and after assembly, it is sent between the two electrodes. By applying pressure and good contact, the contact surface forms a nugget. After the power is cut off, the pressure is maintained to condense and solidify into solder joints. In this process, it is necessary to control the welding current, pressure and power-on time, as well as some welding process parameters, so as not to affect the welding quality.
3. Spot welding machine
Spot welding machine mainly includes frame, welding transformer, electrode, cooling water circuit and pressure mechanism, etc. The cooling water circuit is used for cooling to avoid excessive temperature. The electrode used in the welding process, because it will affect the welding quality, should be selected well. The material should be red copper, cadmium bronze, chrome bronze, etc., and its shape is mainly determined by the shape of the weldment. In addition, the electrodes should be kept clean, and the upper and lower electrodes should be parallel to make the welding proceed smoothly.
